McMaster Grassing is a full service grassing company. We offer both sod and seed, and also maintenance services to maintain your new or your pre-existing grass.
Installation
As a service for all of our install jobs we pre-measure and inspect each job site. If a jobsite is not ready for sod, all of our crews are capable of grading the jobsite upon request. If your grass dead, dying, or full of weeds, we can also ripout and replace any pre-existing sod.
We offer several types of St. Augustine grass for install including the most common Floratam, shade-tolerant varieties including Bitter Blue, Seville, Palmetto and others. Becoming more and more popular is Empire Zoysia. This grass has become the choice of most homeowners who are tired of dealing with the high maintenance costs and chinch bug problems that St. Augustine varieties are prone to. We also install Bahia and Bermuda on our commercial projects. We are able install all of the above varieties or any other variety of sod in either pallet or big roll form. We also offer DOT Certified grass upon request.
Most of our installation is done with pallet sod. Our crews are capable of installing 500,000 square feet weekly. In addition to pallet sod all of our equipment is capable of installing big rolls of any type of sod.
Retail Delivery
Our retail semi trucks are equipped with piggy-back forklifts to unload sod at any location. All types of sod are offered for retail delivery. Call for pricing, or email sales@mcmastergrassing.com.
Our sod harvesting crews are capable of harvesting over 500,000 square feet of pallets or rolls per week.
Seed and Mulch services are offered and we have a no-till drill that can be used in most situations. Hydroseeding is also available upon request.
We commonly seed Bermuda, Bahia, Millet, and Rye, but we are able to seed other grass varieties upon request as well. Soil sampling is highly recommended which will allow
us to determine any necessary soil amendments in order to ensure a long term stand of turf.
